Opening of the online portal for submission of Online Application UGC-NET December 2022 

The National Eligibility Test, also known as UGC NET or NTA-UGC-NET, is the examination for determining the eligibility for the post of assistant professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities and colleges. UGC has been conducted  NET exam twice in a year.      

  UGC NET Exam Started in: 1989–90

Qualification rate: 6% (From 2018)

Score / grade range : 0–100 (Paper I); 0–200 (Paper II)

Score Grade Validity: Three years (for JRF); Lifetime (for Assistant Professor)

Exam conducted by : National Testing Agency
